Where the dynamics of sport meet the depth of three-dimensionality
"A perfect backhand slice, the meditative roll of a golf ball on the green, the infinite expanse of the cosmos – life is full of movement, contrasts, and energy. For over 30 years, the canvas has been my place to capture these fleeting moments forever. My art is no accident, but the mature result of a dynamic life encompassing top-level sports, business, and pure creativity."
My journey into art began in the early 1980s with art classes at the University of Louisiana in the USA. After my time in the tennis world rankings (ATP Top 350) and countless hours on golf courses around the world, I felt the urge to visually express the dynamism I experienced there. Since 1995, I have been working completely independently on my own thematic worlds.
My techniques
A genuine FJ artwork is recognizable by its structure. I often begin with delicate, highly precise hand drawings in chalk, watercolor, or pencil. I then enhance these intricate lines with the powerful force of acrylic paints. The real highlight, however, is my special 3D collages: By incorporating real objects—such as actual tennis rackets, golf balls, or three-dimensional relief elements—the images truly break free from their two-dimensionality. They conquer the space and change fascinatingly with every viewing angle.

A lifetime's work in numbers:
35 years of passion
Art cannot be forced – it needs time, maturity, and sometimes creative breaks. Painting has been a part of my life for 35 years now. During this time, there was also a 10-year period when I consciously rested my brush to make room for new life experiences.
What has been created over three and a half decades of pure passion can now be summarized in a proud record:
238 unique pieces – created with acrylic on canvas or as fine drawings on paper.
1,955 working hours – that corresponds to approximately 244 full man-days of pure concentration in the studio.
CHF 448.– average price – because genuine, handcrafted art from Switzerland should remain affordable and accessible.
Each of these works carries a piece of my story within it.
